TYPES OF AIR CARGO:
There are two types of air cargo – General and Special cargo.
A. General cargo includes : Household Goods, Office Equipment, Sports Equipment, Clothing (Garment, Textiles) And High-Value Goods,( Such As Electronics, Jeweler and Pharmaceuticals )
B. Special cargo : These are the shipment items that require special handling and applied to attractive goods for which special storage, supervision, and careful checking/ tallying is necessary.
This may be because of the value and the ease with which attractive articles can be removed (e.g. small items easily pilfered) or consumed (eg. liquor). and mainly includes Hazardous Goods,
Fragile Cargo, Outsized Cargo, Perishable Cargo, High-Value Cargo.
