132 KV Khimti – Bhaktapur – Balaju Transmission Line Project
K-B-B 132kV Power Transmission Lines is an aid project of Finland to Nepal, undertaken by CNEEC. The lines is 105km long, of which 63km is double-circuit lines and 42 single-circuit lines, supported by 305 towers, with a maximum span of 1800m, the largest in Nepal. As the first transmission line which adopted the hauling engine to draw wire, this project started in Feb. 1998 and finished in December 1999.
SEA SKY CARGO handled 5 Units of power transformer (GW 30 tons each) plus other break-bulk cargo.
45 TEUS (incl 20′, 40′, 40′ OT, 40′ HQ, 45′,Break Bulk like 45 M ton Transformers )
This was the first time 45′ was transported to Nepal.
