RORO Cargo

RORO stands for ROLL-ON/ROLL-OFF and means that specially designed ships for carrying wheeled cargo, such as cars, trucks, semi-trailer trucks, trailers, and railroad cars can drive on and off of the ship on their own wheels RORO is a fast and convenient method of shipping vehicles from many counties to Nepal and Bhutan as this can be the cheapest method when moving a single running car to South Asian countries.

Cars are driven on and off a RORO ship which is similar to a floor to minimize any movement during the voyage. Once cars are inside the ship, they are simply strapped to the floor to minimize any movement during the voyage.

SEA SKY CARGO SERVICE has delivered large numbers of different kinds of vehicles from different countries to South Asian Counties – India, Afghanistan, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan & Sri Lanka mostly for diplomats and INGO.

In the case of Nepal and Bhutan, We have transported ex-arrival Kolkata port to the destinations by road mostly for, embassies. IFRC, W.H.O, UNDP, and individual customer

Most car manufacturers ship their new vehicles overseas this way. A normal cargo-carrying vessel equipped with the RORO facility is termed as the GENRO.
